Microsoft off late has been working on improving its Skype app for all platforms. The company which released a new Skype app for iOS and Android has been working on it by adding new features.

The company has today pushed out a  new update for its Skype app this time for Android users. The update takes the app to new version 8.10.0.4. The update comes with some new features for the Highlights section of the application. It also includes the usual bug fixes and performance improvements to the application.

With the latest update the Skype team has now introduced Smart Effects for the Highlights section of the application. After taking a photo via the Highlights section, the app lets you choose the most suitable sticker or filter before posting the photo to the Highlights section.

Users will find new Stickers and Filters daily and they change with the time, days of the week and holidays. The Skype team has also introduced the ability to handle multiple Skype calls at the same time. This update also brings bug fixes and performance improvements to the Skype app for Android users.
