Microsoft pushed out Patch Tuesday updates for all versions of Windows including Windows 10. After installing the update lot of users complained of break down of the Dot Matrix printers on a number of computers. This problem has been reported  by all supported versions of Windows.

The Dot Matrix printers from Epson have been experiencing issues after installing the Patch Tuesday updates on all versions of Windows like Windows 7, 8.1 and 10. Various users on online forums have confirmed having issues with the November 2017 update especially who use the Epson’s dot matrix printers.

The printers are no longer capable of printing documents after the installation of the patch updates. The issue occurs to be only effecting users with dot matrix printers since one of the user reported having been able to print without any problem on a non dot matrix printer.

Microsoft has already confirmed that it is aware of the issue and as a workaround asks users to remove the patch updates and hide the updates in Windows Update which should make the printers restore their full functionality.

The workaround is a temporary one and the company is already working with Epson to fix the issue as they have been able to identify the problem and will be pushing out a fix sooner than later to resolve the problem.
