We had earlier confirmed that Microsoft and Harman are working in partnership on the company’s  digital assistant Cortana powered Invoke speaker.  Harman Kardon announced the Invoke will not be available until the fall.

But now some of the select users can get their hands on the Cortana Powered Invoke speakers. Microsoft and Harman Kardon have decided to launch a private beta tests called “Cortana Friends and Family Trial”.

This program is only available for a select few beta testers who would get an opportunity to use and provide feedback on the Cortana Powered Invoke Speaker to improve the product. The company has also launched surveys and homework assignments which will help testers to explore the product by being flexible and patient.

The tester would need to visit a Knowledge Base page to get more information about the product, setup and more. Since this is a private beta program not many users can have their hands on the device and need to wait for its official launch in the fall.
