Thanks for your feedback! Battery life issues are one of those onion type problems where you fix one issue and uncover something new.  Well we’ve fixed numerous issues in build 14379 that were contributing to poor battery life and we’re excited to see the results. When available please upgrade and by all means send us more feedback if you see more issues!

I’m sorry you’re not getting your notifications. Thank you for reporting it. I’m from the Messaging team, and we’re looking into this problem. While we work, there’s a couple of things you can check: In Settings > System > Notifications, check that Messaging is turned On. Also, in Settings > Battery saver, make sure Messaging is in the allowed apps.

Surprisingly, Mobile has far more votes than PC. PC’s top feedback has 37,529 upvotes while Mobile’s has 84,701. Both feedback are unfortunately not yet implemented/fixed/resolved.
