Microsoft is currently developing the next major update for Windows 11, which is being called the "Windows 11 2024 Update". This update is also known as version 24H2 and is codenamed "Hudson Valley".

In Windows 11 build 26058, you can now manage more system settings using Copilot and use the Power Automate plugin to perform routine tasks.

Microsoft released Windows 11 23H2 last year, but many users are still running 22H2. It could be a personal choice, or at least it was until now. Soon, Microsoft will automatically update the eligible 22H2 PCs to version 23H2.

Despite being designed to install automatically, we have found that the Windows 11 update KB5034765, repeatedly fails to install with error codes 0x800f0922, 0x800f0982, and 0x80070002 in our tests.

Windows doesn't show all Bluetooth devices when you do a quick search but that will change in Windows 11 24H2.

The basic action icons have labels that appear below them in the File Explorer. It makes it easier to identify the actual use case of an icon rather than second-guessing it before clicking on it.

Microsoft is encouraging everyone to use Copilot on Windows. In its latest effort to promote AI usage, Microsoft has removed the "Show desktop" feature to free up space for Copilot in the system tray. This modification is included in the mandatory February 2024 update of Windows 11.

So what is the difference between Sudo and the traditional Runas? Per Microsoft, Runas allows you to run commands or programs as any user (even administrator) in Windows. Whereas, Sudo cannot run commands or programs as any other user.

Sudo was never meant to be a part of Windows Server editions. Microsoft informed that the future Insider builds of Windows Server will not have the option in the Settings app.
