Known Issues:
- VPN for some users will not be working after upgrading to this build. As a workaround you would need to delete the “%ProgramData%\Microsoft\Network\Connections\pbk* directories”. Check if the VPN profile you need shows up already and if not, reinstall the appropriate VPN client app you need.
- User will now find some apps missing when logging in to additional user accounts on the PC. As a temporary workaround users would need to run “Get-AppXPackage *WindowsStore* -AllUsers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register “$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml”}”.
- Movies & TV crashes when the user navigates to the “Personal tab” and denies access to its videos library.
- Windows Mixed Reality headset setup will show a black screen after installing this build. You would need to disconnect and reconnect back to the PC to return to the proper screen.
- Some of the Win32 desktop apps will appear below the tab bar when maximized, this issue will be fixed in upcoming builds. As a workaround you need to restore and re maximize the window.
As always its advisable to go through the list of known issues before installing the Windows 10 preview builds. The latest Windows 10 preview build is available for download and you can get it by going to Settings>Update & Security>Windows Update>Check for Update.
