Microsoft Edge Android

Microsoft back in October last year had made its web browser Microsoft Edge available for Android users in preview and later made the browser available to all Android users officially.

The company has been working very hard in improving the Edge experience for both Android and iOS. Today the company is pushing out another new update for its Edge browser on Android devices.

The latest update pushes the app to new versionĀ The update brings improvements to adaptive icons and support for Android Oreo. Users will now be able to share text from other apps using the Edge search engine. The update also brings support for sharing links which have been added in the latest update.

Reading Mode has also received some minor improvements with the latest update. The company has also brought in support for adaptive launcher icons. The adaptive icons when enabled display different forms of icons on different device models without changing the original look to the device.

The adaptive icons features is available only for users with Android Oreo and above installed on their Android devices. The latest Edge browser for Android is available for download in the Google Play Store and can be downloaded by clicking the below Play Store link.

Ok then i am on the wrong site. I am interested about windows (as the site name and adress suggests) and windows phone. Not Microsoft and it’s products on other platforms. Thanks for clearing this for me.
