As the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update is here, Microsoft is finally able to focus on the Redstone 4 update. Yesterday, Microsoft started rolling out the new Mail & Calendar app to the Skip Ahead Insiders, the rollout was part of the A/B testing where some random users receive new changes.

Microsoft recently redesigned the Outlook Mail app for Mac with a simpler look and now the company is adding Fluent Design elements in the Mail app for Windows 10 PCs. After getting the touch of Fluent Design, the Mail app looks stunning and much better than ever before.

Due to some reasons, Microsoft delayed the Fluent Design interface for Outlook Mail & Calendar app. It is finally coming to Windows 10 with the Redstone 4 update and the Skip Ahead Insiders are already receiving a new update that enables the Fluent Design element in the app, you can find the new look-and-free of the Mail app in the above screenshots.

As you can see the Fluent Design element has improved the overall interface and unlike the People app, it has no negative impact in terms of performance stability.

Microsoft’s Groove Music was one of the best apps with Fluent Design, however as it is has been killed off by the Redmond giant, Microsoft is finally focusing on Outlook Mail & Calendar app. Microsoft is also testing other Fluent Design elements for the application, in the coming months, the company is expected to improve the interface of all first-party apps with elements from the Fluent Design system.
