Microsoft today released a new Windows 10 Redstone 4 Build 17017 for Fast Ring and Skip Ahead Insiders. The company released some new features in the latest Windows 10 Redstone 4 build. You can refer our earlier article on the new features in the link.

Head of Windows Insider Chief Dona Sarkar after confirming the release of the Windows 10 Redstone 4 build also confirmed that going forward the upcoming Future Redstone 4 Builds will be released to both Fast Ring and Skip Ahead Insiders at the same time.

Dona Sarkar said that the plan behind releasing new Redstone 4 builds to both Fast Ring and Skip Ahead is that both the team are in the first stage of development and are working on the new code before adding any new features for Redstone 4.

The company which has now completed the development of Fall Creators Update which is ready for Public rollout on October 17th, is now working on new features for the company’s next major update Redstone 4.

The company will be releasing many new features like Timeline feature which was expected to be released with Fall Creators Update. But will now be made available with Redstone 4 builds. Apart from the Timeline feature the company has released some new features like Cortana Collections along with new Startup Settings and more.
