Flipboard has announced that the company is dropping support for its Windows Phone app. This news comes after Wells Fargo abandoning Windows Phone platform due to lack of downloads. It is not surprising as Microsoft isn’t supporting its own mobile platform. The Redmond giant recently announced an interesting app for Android and iOS. While on other hand, Microsoft ignored its own mobile platform.

You cannot download the Flipboard app on your Windows Phone anymore. Flipboard has a Windows 10 app but it is available only on PCs and Tablets. If you are hoping for a new Windows 10 Mobile app, Flipboard has confirmed that they have no plans to support Windows Phone platform in future.

When a Windows Phone user contacted Flipboard and asked them whether they are still supporting Microsoft’s mobile platform. To which, Anna from Flipboard replied, “Thanks for your email. Sorry, but we don’t support the Windows Phone anymore, and I don’t think we will in the near future.”
