Microsoft yesterday pushed out a new update for its OneNote application, this time for users on Android devices. The latest update comes with many new features which were much requested by the users of the OneNote application.
The latest update has pushed the app to version 16.0.9001.2134. The update introduces the much requested lasso tool apart from other features like resize pictures and more. With the latest update users now have the ability to shift the text and images were ever they want on the page to maintain their notes better.
The most requested feature for OneNote was the lasso tool which has been introduced in today’s update. You will now be able to freely select ink drawings and other content on your pages. However users have reported that the lasso tool does not function as expected and we hope the company will be pushing out another update to improve the function of the tool.
The update also adds support for palm rejection for more natural and accurate drawings and handwriting’s. You will also be able to move text and images all around the page which lets you to keep things organized and in one place.
Apart from the minor new features the update also pushes out the regular set of bug fixes and performance improvements to the OneNote application. We would also like to report that after the update some users are getting error message when trying to launch the application.
We expect Microsoft to soon release a new update to fix the issues reported by some users. If you haven’t yet got the update you can download it by clicking this Play Store link.
