Microsoft today released a new update for its OneNote app for Windows 10 devices. This is the same update which was released to Windows Insiders last week. The update is now available for all Windows 10 users and the version number has been updated to 17.8827.2012.

The latest update brings new features along with improvements to the search functionality. The latest update includes a new digital ruler feature which can be used to draw straight lines and also measure distance.

The digital ruler can also be rotated to various angles as is indicated on the ruler. Along with the digital ruler feature, Microsoft also has made improvements to the search functionality which now helps users in search results showing up faster. You will also be able to get back to your notes easily and without any issues.

The latest update for the Windows 10 OneNote app is currently rolling out and is available to download via the Microsoft Store and you would need to wait for some weeks to have your hands on the new digital ruler feature as the update is gradually rolling out.
