Windows 10 Fall Creators Update
New windows 10 fall creators update 2017

Microsoft couple of days ago pushed a new Windows 10 Build 16299 for Fast Ring insiders (Skip Ahead Not enabled). The build was rumored to be the RTM candidate for Windows 10 Fall Creators Update which is scheduled to be released on October 17th for General public.

However the company has not confirmed any details about the actual RTM candidate which will be released to the general public. But today the company has pushed out the Build 16299.15 to Insiders in the Slow Ring which could suggest that this is the final RTM build which would be released to the General Public on October 17th.

The build however does not contain any new features but contains minor fixes for Slow Ring Insiders. The company has fixed some issues pertaining to Microsoft Edge Browser apart from fixing Automatic File download issues and more with Build 16299. Please refer our earlier article for the full changelog.

The Insiders in Release Preview could expect the Build 16299.15 to be released in the coming week. We are just about 13 days away from an official roll out of Windows 10 Fall Creators Update and users can expect Microsoft to push out some Cumulative Update to fix some minor bugs before the public roll out.

Users in Slow Ring can download the Build by going to Settings>Update & Security> Windows Update>Check for Updates. For users in Release Preview ring the build could be released in the coming week.
