Microsoft has today updated their Windows 10 Photos appĀ for PCs on the Windows Insider Release preview Ring. The app is now updated to the Version number 2017.35063.13610.0 This update has introduced the intelligent search for photos that was earlier available on OneDrive online only.

Intelligent search uses ArtificialĀ Intelligence and deep learning to analyze the photos and it can then automatically tag the content of your picture. So now you can search by people, places or things to easily find specific photos in your photos collection. When you search for a photo you will see a people’s app like faces below the search bar, and clicking any face would show all the pictures of the individual.

Microsoft has introduced this intelligent search with the Story Remix on their photos app with the build 16193.Ā Recently Microsoft has launched an AI based app for iOS called ā€œSeeing AIā€ that helped blind users or users with eyesight problem to see the world through their iPhone camera. This app will also useĀ AI and their cloud data to speak the whole environment in front of the phone camera.

The update is now live on Windows Store and you can download it fromĀ here. Make sure you are enrolled into Windows Insider Slow Ring to get this update.
