After releasing a new cumulative update for Windows 10 Mobile Fall Creators Update devices, Microsoft has also pushed out 15063.1266 and Build 14393.2431 for older devices. Windows 10 Mobile Build 15254.527, 15063.1266 and 14393.2431 are available for the general public.

Build 15063.1266 is a patch for Windows Phones that run Creators Update and Build 14393.2431 is for Windows 10 Mobile Anniversary Update devices. As you might have guessed already, it comes with no new features or major improvements.

All supported versions of Windows 10 Mobile receive new patches

The Fall Creators Update (feature2) is the production branch of Windows Phones such as the Lumia 950, HP Elite x3 and Alcatel IDOL 4s. The 2018-08 update for Windows 10 Mobile is mainly composed of minor fixes and security patches.

According to the changelog, the patch includes security updates for Microsoft Edge, Kernel, Windows apps and Windows graphics.

Today, the older phones such as the Lumia 930, Lumia 735 and the Lumia 640 are also getting the update. By the looks of things, those sticking with older phones aren’t losing out on the core security fixes, at least for now. It’s worth noting Microsoft has dropped support for Windows 10 Anniversary Update and no new patches will be released.
