Microsoft couple of days ago pushed out a new update for its OneNote app for Windows 10 and Windows 10 Mobile users. The latest OneNote update is available for Insiders enrolled in the Release Preview Ring. The latest update bumps the app to new version 17.9029.20992.0.

The latest update contains some minor new features along with the usual set of bug fixes and performance improvements. After the latest update OneNote users will be able to send a copy of their Outlook email to OneNote app.

You will also be able to add new meetings details with the complete date, location, agenda for the meeting, topic and number of attendees from Outlook. This would help users to get a reminder in the Outlook half hour before the scheduled meeting.

Touch Screen users will now be able to use a virtual ruler to draw straight lines and also measure distance. You will be able to rotate the ruler to a specific angle with the help of an angle indicator.

Digital pens also can now be used in the OneNote app by tilting to pen down their ideas and sketches. Searching results has now gone faster and your search results will appear instantaneously making it easy for you to go back to your notes faster.

As reported the latest update for the OneNote app is available for Insiders enrolled in the Release Preview Ring and should be rolled out to all OneNote users in coming weeks. If you haven’t yet taken the update, you can do so by clicking the below Store link.
