Microsoft is rolling out a new update to the Groove Music app for all Windows 10 devices in Production Ring. Latest update finally bring much anticipated Equalizer feature!
Microsoft has been testing this feature since last 3-4 months and now it’s finally available for all windows 10 devices. In case if you are wondering Equalizer will allow users to change amplitude of music. There will be 5 frequency band groupings ranging from low to high. For each group you can adjust different decibels ranging from -12 to +12.
Furthermore, they also added 9 default amplitude settings which includes Headphone, Car, Laptop, Bass boosts, TV, Home Stereo and more. Another big feature in this update is that now you can set current playing artist’s art as wallpaper and as locks screen. “Play next” feature now adds the album and or song to current queue. And as always you can also change the order of song in current queue by drag and drop.
Update also revamped the playbar and you can spot Fluent Design elements in the app at various places. Update also bring general bug fixes and overall performance improvement.
Last week same update was rolled out to Windows Insiders in Release Preview Ring. And as you suspect for mobile device there’s no news to share at this moment. We don’t know whether or not Microsoft will be bringing this feature for Windows 10 Mobile. But keep an eye on Windows Latest for more update.
