Microsoft pushes out a new update for its Store app for Windows 10 Mobile and PC. The app has been updated to new versionĀ 11711.1001.5.0. The latest Store app update is available for all Windows 10 PC and Mobile users, meaning the Store has been updated to public or production ring users.

With the latest Store update, Microsoft has removed the acrylic effect to the hamburger menu and a subtle reveal effect. The Acrylic effect was added by the company in the previous version resulting in app getting slowed down and effecting the performance of the application.

As Fluent Design on Windows 10 Mobile ruins the performance of the applications, Microsoft has decided to remove the new design language from Windows phones.

Hence the latest update removes the Acrylic effect to the hamburger menu on Windows 10 Mobile and small screen tablets. The company has now added back the support for Live Tiles to the Store application along with improving the performance of the application on Windows 10 devices.

This is the same update which was released to Windows Insiders couple of weeks ago and after successful testing and positive feedback, the company has pushed out the latest Store update to the public users.

You can get the latest Store app update which is currently live in the Store and alternatively can be downloaded by clicking this Store link.
