One of the highlighted features in Windows 10 operating system was the Game Bar. Windows 10’s Game Bar is a built-in-tool for recording videos of games and lets you upload the video to YouTube and share it with your friends.

Microsoft is testing a new version of Game Bar that takes advantage of the Universal Windows Platform (UWP). Some early code hidden in Windows 10 Redstone 4 Buil 17046 allows users to access the new Game Bar.

With the Windows 10 Redstone 4 update, Microsoft is adding Fluent Design acrylic blur to the game bar. Yet another noticeable change is the ability to enable both light and dark modes. The other changes include:

  • Shortcuts to Xbox Live and Mixer profiles.
  • A new clock has been added to the left side of the screen.
  • New animations.
  • A simpler Gamertag readout replaces the Xbox Live avatar bubble.
  • New toggle buttons such as capture audio and video.
The Game Bar in Windows 10 also lets you enable the Game Mode and take advantage of the best gaming feature. Game Mode, on the other hand, boosts the gaming performance in the operating system.
