It’s Friday morning in the US and Microsoft is now rolling out Windows 10 Mobile Build 15245 to Windows Insiders on the Fast Ring. It is quite surprising as the company generally avoids releasing builds on Fridays. Nonetheless, it is a treat for the Windows Phone fans as it has been a while since Microsoft released an update for Windows 10 Mobile on the Windows Insider Program.

As you might have guessed already, build 15245 for Windows 10 Mobile comes from the feature2 branch so it has no new features. However, Windows 10 Mobile Build 15245 brings improvements and bug fixes.

Microsoft has fixed an issue when disconnecting the phone while a file transfer is in progress resulted in the crash of MTP service. Furthermore, Microsoft has finally fixed the issue where Silverlight apps that use GPS would either not start or crash.

Another issue has been fixed where Maps app had the initial direction set to North. Microsoft has also fixed an issue where apps like Skype would crash with Access Denied error when changing Download messages settings.
