Microsoft’s Windows Insider Program Chief Dona Sarkar announced today that Windows 10 Creators Update for Mobile is available in the Release Preview Ring. The company with this announcement has informed the Windows Phone fans, those on the unsupported Windows 10 Mobile Phones will be receiving the Windows 10 Creators Update via the Release Preview Ring.

The company in a post to the Feedback Hub says as follows:

“If you are a Windows Insider on an unsupported device, you can stay on the Windows 10 Creators Update and receive Cumulative Updates via the Release Preview ring. However, you do so at your own risk as it’s unsupported. If you are on one of these unsupported devices and in the Fast or Slow ring, you will need to switch to the Release Preview ring via Settings > Update & security > Windows Insider Program.”

Microsoft has trimmed the devices which will be officially supported to 13 which includes the HP’s Flagship Phone the Elite x3 along with the Lumia 950, 950 XL, Alcatel IDOL 4S. This could be some sought of good news for Windows 10 Mobile whose Windows Phone is on the unsupported device list can still update to Windows 10 Creators Update.
