As expected, Microsoft today unveiled the Surface Pro 6 and Surface Laptop 2 in black color. The Surface Pro 6 and Surface Laptop 2 both are running Intel’s latest 8th generation processor that improves the overall performance and offers better battery backup.
As far as hardware is concerned, Surface Pro 6 and Surface Laptop 2 feature the same hardware as seen on the Surface Pro (2017) and the first-generation Surface Laptop. Unfortunately, the Surface Pro 6 and Surface Laptop 2 does not come with the USB-C port.
Surface Laptop 2
The Surface Laptop is powered by 8th generation Intel Core i5 processor with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of SSD Storage. Microsoft is also offering the Surface Laptop 2 with better specs but the hardware design remains unchanged regardless of the configuration you pick.
Microsoft is apparently launching both devices with Windows 10 in S Mode but you can always upgrade to Windows 10 Pro or Home.
As expected, Microsoft Surface Laptop 2 is priced the same as last year’s model.
Surface Pro 6
Microsoft also unveiled the Surface Pro 6 in black color and with Intel’s 8th generation processor.
