Microsoft recently stopped selling the Windows Phones on its web store and the phones were labelled as out of stock. While people were assuming that Microsoft won’t sell the phones again, a Microsoft sales representative last week told us that the Windows Phones will be back in Store due to high demand. As speculated, Microsoft Store has once again started selling a Windows Phone on its online store.

Alcatel IDOL 4S with Windows 10 Mobile is once again available on the company’s web store for the same price. You can buy Alcatel IDOL 4S Unlocked with VR Goggles for $169, but the variant without VR Goggles is still out of stock. If you are interested, you can buy the phone from the Microsoft Store.

“Due to it’s hot, our higher team is trying to have it available in soonest time. The Windows Phones will be back soon”, a Microsoft sales representative said.

In 2016, Alcatel officially announced the IDOL 4S, the company’s first phone with Windows 10 Mobile operating system and Microsoft marketed the handset as a “powerhouse flagship” with an affordable price. Needless to say, Alcatel’s Windows Phone helped Windows 10 Mobile platform.

It is worth noting that the Alcatel IDOL 4S is the first VR-ready Windows 10 Mobile device, and the company has included the virtual reality headset in the package.

“Each IDOL 4S with Windows 10 comes packaged with virtual reality goggles included as part of the in-box bundle. The headset is designed so that the phone snaps into the goggles for an user-friendly virtual reality experience where you can play three-dimensional games or watch 360-degree videos,” Microsoft explains.

The Alcatel IDOL 4S is a flagship phone with 5.5-inch full HD 1920×1080 pixels AMOLED display which offers balanced contrast and vivid colours. The phone runs the latest version of Windows 10 Mobile operating system and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor with Adreno 530 GPU. It comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, but you can add an extra 128GB thanks to microSD card support.

The device features a 21-megapixel resolution which uses Sony IMX230 sensor, and there’s a small 8MP front camera for video calls. The phone has 3,000 mAh battery, and it also supports quick charging.
