Microsoft today pushed out a new update to its OneNote App for Android devices. The latest update has bumped the app to new version 16.0.8625.2040. The update is a major one and comes with Fingerprint unlock support and more for Android OneNote Users.

After the latest OneNote update users now have the support for Fingerprint unlocking for their Notebook sections apart from the regular password protection. Users would need to first set up a password for the created section, then users will be prompted to unlock with fingerprint next time when they try to unlock.

Once confirmed the unlock option will then be set automatically so that the users need not toggle it again meaning next time trying to access the protected section, users will be asked for the fingerprint to unlock.

The team has also fixed some unknown bugs along with improving the performance of the Android OneNote application. The latest update can be downloaded by clicking the below Play Store link.
