Microsoft is now rolling out a new cumulative update to the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update devices. Microsoft has just pushed Windows 10 Build 16299.19 to Windows Insiders on the Fast, Slow and Release Preview Ring. This is the last minute fix for the Fall Creators Update as it is coming on October 17.

As you might have guessed already, the Windows 10 Build 16299.19 brings no new features but Microsoft has fixed some important bugs. Microsoft has finally addressed a spammy bug where after uninstalling the apps, Windows was reinstalling them again and again. The bug affected the UWP apps and it has been finally addressed.

Microsoft has also fixed an issue with JET database where the localization of the error output is broken, only English error strings were reported. Apart from the above changes, Microsoft is also rolling out security updates, this time there is no update for Microsoft Edge browser while Internet Explorer is still getting the love.

The security updates have been released to Windows Search Component, Windows TPM, Windows kernel-mode drivers, Microsoft Graphics Component, Microsoft Windows DNS, Windows Server, Microsoft JET Database Engine and Internet Explorer.

As we noted above, except the Fast Ring and Skip Ahead Insiders, the new build is available for download on all Insider Rings. To download this build, you’ll need to go to Settings -> Security & Updates -> Windows Update and check for updates.
