Microsoft rolled out an update to Windows Store on PCs and Tablets with UI improvements. At that time, the update wasn’t available for Windows 10 Mobile. However, Microsoft has pushed the update to Windows 10 Mobile and it also brings similar changes. As Microsoft has stopped updating the apps on the Fast Ring, the Insiders on the Release Preview Ring have received the update.
The latest update for Windows Store on Windows 10 Mobile adds UI improvements. The changes improve the Store experience on mobile. However, the Windows 10 Mobile version of the Store has got fewer changes.
On the listing page, the black is now dark grey which brings Fluent Design effect to the Store. Although it is a minor change, the Store now looks cleaner than before on Windows 10 Mobile and PC.
Apart from the UI tweaks, the performance has been improved as well as the bugs have been squashed. The updated version of Windows Store is 11701.1000.80 and you can get the update if you are on the Release Preview Ring.
