Twitter today released a new update for its Windows 10 application for PCs and Tablets. The application is bumped to new version 5.8.0.0. The update comes with some new features for the live video along with performance improvements.
After the latest update to the Twitter application for Windows 10 users will find a new Live Video section. To turn on the Video and receive notifications, you would need to go to Twitter Setting and turn on notifications. You will start to receive notifications for Sporting events, news, technology etc.
Also the Twitter team has added a New Section ” Upcoming Live events in the home page. Users will be able to check the upcoming live events around the world via their Windows 10 Twitter application. There are also some bug fixes and performance improvements made to the app after the latest update.
The latest update for the Twitter application is currently rolling out and is currently been available only for Windows 10 PCs and Tablets and we expect the update to roll out to Windows 10 Mobile users sooner than later.
