Microsoft has pushed a new update to the People app on Windows 10 Mobile Devices. Microsoft is rolling out a new update to People app with Fluent Design changes. The updated version has been released to Windows Insiders in the Fast Ring.

Microsoft People app has been updated to version 10.2.1801.0. The Fluent Design changes bring significant changes to the interface of the app. Not only Fluent Design, Microsoft has also improved the performance of the People app and squashed some bugs.

However, if your Windows Phone has only 1GB of RAM, the app won’t function properly. Users are reporting that the People app has become very slow after installing the latest update on Windows Phones with 1GB RAM.

Microsoft has been readying its Fluent Design System, a way to easily create cross-device experiences that look right on a variety of screen shapes and sizes. It’s intended to help apps work correctly across everything from phones, through tablets, to laptops and desktop PCs with big displays.

However, the Fluent Design System is about more than just screens. Indeed, it’s also intended to embrace devices that might have no screen at all, such as wearables or Cortana-powered smart speakers. Microsoft says the Fluent Design System will be able to cope with apps that interact through touch, ink, voice, gaze, and gesture, in addition to the traditional keyboard and mouse.
