Windows 10 desktop update

A new cumulative update for Windows 10 version 1903 is rolling out with a number of fixes for consumers and businesses. You can install it via Settings app or download Windows 10 KB4501375 offline installers from Microsoft Update Catalog.

Windows 10 KB4501375 is for May 2019 Update PCs only and it comes with a long list of improvements, including a fix for the broken Night light feature and more. After installing the update, the system will bump to Windows 10 Build 18362.207 and the OS version will stay on 1903.

In addition to Windows 10 Build 18362.207, a new servicing stack update could also show up on some devices. A servicing stack is designed to improve Windows Update experience and address reliability problems. As mentioned, you can download and install the cumulative update from Settings > Windows Update > Check for updates.

Microsoft says it has resolved an issue where the cursor may not show up on systems when you hover over the keyboard magnifier. A Microsoft Edge and Internet Explorer redirect loop bug has been also addressed.

Microsoft is also fixing an issue with Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG) marker display.

Today’s update for Windows 10 version 1903 also comes with fixes and improvements for Internet Explorer. For example, Microsoft has resolved scrolling and webpages rendering issue in Internet Explorer 11.

It’s also important to note that Microsoft recently confirmed that it remains committed to Internet Explorer and the legacy browser will continue to receive updates in future.

Microsoft has acknowledged that Windows 10 May 2019 Update bug broke Night light, a feature that makes the computer easier on eyes by restricting blue lightemanating from your display.

In Build 18362.207, Night light issue has been resolved. Colour Management profiles and gamma correction issues have been also addressed.

Another bug has been fixed where Windows Hello enrollment displayed a grey scale in the camera. Microsoft is also fixing a playback issue associated with video contents generated by iOS devices.

A Your Phone app disconnection issue when fitness app is running on Android has been fixed.

The software giant is also fixing a bug that prevented Windows 10 upgrade on Windows 7 when third-party antivirus software is installed.
