Microsoft announced today that its Surface Pro with LTE will be made available for users starting 1 May. The device is now available for pre order on the Microsoft website. Microsoft had announced the Surface Pro LTE which would be shipping only to business users in December 2017. 

The device will be coming with a Cat 9 modem and is expected to be the fastest LTE enabled laptop. The basic version of the Surface Pro with Intel i5, 4GB RAM is being priced at $1,149 and the device with 8GB RAM will be costing $1,449.

The Surface Pro LTE is currently available for pre order for users in US, Canada and Australia. Microsoft had in December 2017 made available both the LTE devices to business users which is now available for all global users. The device will be officially available from  May 1st but if you are looking to buy it you can pre order the Surface Pro LTE starting today.

Surface Pro LTE can support up to 20 cellular bands to deliver global connectivity and makes it easy for users to work, study and relax without having to interrupt their work. Surface Guru Panos Panay who unveiled the device in December 2017 in London had confirmed that the device will include both e SIM and nano SIM slot making it easy for users to connect to a network via software.

The device which is available for pre order comes with an Intel Core i5 processor, 256GB of SSD and 8GB of RAM. You can pre order the device from the Microsoft Store here for a price of $1,449.
