We had earlier reported that Microsoft will be soon announcing its new Surface Pro with LTE advanced support. Today, at the Future Decoded event the company announced the new Surface Pro with LTE advanced. The device was unveiled by Surface Guru Panos Panay in London.

The Surface Pro LTE is the newest addition to the already existing family of Surface devices and the device will be shipped to business customers in December 2017. The device will be coming with a Cat 9 modem and is expected to be the fastest LTE enabled laptop.

Surface Pro LTE can support up to 20 cellular bands to deliver global connectivity and makes it easy for users to work, study and relax without having to interrupt their work. Panos confirmed that the company is currently targeting business users and is expected to meet the needs of everyone in their workforce.

The basic version of the Surface Pro with Intel i5, 4GB RAM is being priced at $1,149 and the device with 8GB RAM will be costing $1,449.
