We had earlier reported that Microsoft is working on introducing new features to its Photos app for Windows 10 devices. The company is already testing many new features internally which include Remix 3D elements, Image Photo and Viewer and more.

The company has now pushed out a new update for its Photos app which brings UI changes and improvements to the Remix 3D elements along with renaming Remix 3D to 3D Models.

The app is updated in the Microsoft Store to new version 2018.18021.10820 bringing the new features for the Photos app most of which are currently hidden and are in internal testing by the Redmond Giant.

One of the feature which is already in testing with the Fast Ring Insiders is the “3D Text Animations” on images which allows users to add 3D effects to texts on the images and videos.

The 3D Models (Ala Remix 3D) now comes with a new icon along with other improvements made to the hidden features. The latest Photos app update is expected to be released to the Insiders very soon before a public roll out.
