It’s been a while since Microsoft released build 15240 for Windows 10 Mobile on the Fast Ring. After gathering the feedback from the testers, today Microsoft is pushing Windows 10 Mobile Build 15240 to Windows Insiders on the Slow Ring.

Windows 10 Mobile Build 15240 is from the feature2 branch and it comes with two new features. Microsoft has added support for the latest unicode updates, it brings new emojis such as new snacks, actions, dinosaurs, and even fantasy characters like genies, fairies and zombies. The emojis are already available on PCs and now it is also available on mobiles.

Furthermore, Microsoft has tweaked the existing emojis based on the feedback they gathered from the Insiders. The company has also introduced the Chinese Lunar Calender with for Windows 10 Mobile in this build. To enable the feature, you’ll need to follow the below steps.

  1. Launch the Calendar app
  2. Select Settings >Calendar settings
  3. Enable “Alternative Calendars” and select Chinese and Lunar in the dropdowns.

The new build also brings some improvements and bug fixes. Microsoft has fixed an issue where trying to update Windows Store apps saved to your SD card resulted in an 8007000B error. However, you may not be able to install or update the Windows Store apps, as a workaround – you can uninstall the app and download the new version.
