Microsoft is now rolling out a major update to Movies & TV app on Windows 10 Mobile Devices. Microsoft has added some noticeable changes to the app with the latest update. The Movies & TV app for Windows 10 Mobile has been updated with Fluent Design changes.

Earlier the update was already available for download in the Fast Ring but today Microsoft is rolling out the new version of Movies & TV app to Windows Insiders in the Production Ring. The Fluent Design has introduced transparency to the app’s elements.

The update adds in-app acrylic blur to the hamburger menu as you can see from the pic. Just in case you are wondering, the updated version is 10.17042.1421.0.

Fluent Design intended to help apps work correctly across everything from phones, through tablets, to laptops and desktop PCs with big displays. However, the Fluent Design System is about more than just screens. Indeed, it’s also intended to embrace devices that might have no screen at all, such as wearables or Cortana-powered smart speakers. Microsoft says the Fluent Design System will be able to cope with apps that interact through touch, ink, voice, gaze, and gesture, in addition to the traditional keyboard and mouse.
