In the First quarter of this year, Microsoft has only sold just $5 Million worth of Windows Phone and the company said that it is going to shut down the piece of its hardware business before the end of this fiscal year meaning the end of Next Month.

Hence the company has dropped half of its Windows Phone Store listings from its US Microsoft Store. The company has also removed the unlocked Lumia 640 XL,Lumia 650 and the Unlocked 950 apart from other devices like Acer’s Jade Primo.

The 7 phones that are listed on the Windows Store aren’t the all ones which are supported devices either. Below is the list of Devices listed on the US Microsoft Store.

Name Price In stock Supported
Unlocked Alcatel IDOL 4S $470 Yes Yes
HP Elite x3 Bundle $799 Yes Yes
HP Elite x3 + Lap Dock Bundle $1,298 Yes Yes
Microsoft Lumia 950 XL $499 Yes Yes
AT&T Microsoft Lumia 950 $298.99 White only Yes
Microsoft Lumia 550 $139 Yes Yes
Microsoft Lumia 735 $129 No No

Out of the 7 devices, the Lumia 735 is the odd one out on that list. Its the only device that is no longer supported and is also not in stock. But if users are interested then they can buy the phone from a carrier AT&T.

Out of the Phones listed above its disheartening to see the Lumia 650 not available since it is the last of the Lumia’s that the company had launched before halting the production of the Lumia devices.

We can assume that all the Lumia’s listed above should be gone in the next month and a half and devices like the Alcatel and HP’s flagship phones might be available for purchase via Microsoft US Store.
