Windows 10 PC Build 15055 is now rolling to the Windows Insiders in the Fast Ring. It brings no new features but there are a lot of improvements over the previous update, Windows 10 Build 15051. Microsoft has released the same build to the Windows 10 Mobile Devices. The latest update focuses on bug fixes and improvements related to performance of the operating system.

If your PC is having Symantec/Norton anti-virus software installed then you would be not able to download the update. However, make sure you have the latest version of anti-virus installed to get the update. Microsoft has fixed a lot of bugs with this release but the update comes with another set of known issues.

The bugs in the latest build might affect the performance of your PC. Some apps and games may crash due to a misconfiguration of advertising ID that happened in a prior build. Furthermore, inbox apps may fail to launch (such as Store). However, there is a easy workaround, all you need to do is reset the the app by going to Settings > Apps > Apps & features > Store > Advanced Options and click on the reset button. If you own a Surface Pro 3 device, remove the SD Memory Card before installing the build as the device will fail to install the update if a SD memory card is inserted.

Are you going to install the latest preview build?
