Microsoft has just released a small cumulative update for Windows 10 version 1809 and older versions. You can install the patch from Windows Update or download Windows 10 KB4509479 offline installers from Microsoft’s Update Catalog.

Windows 10 KB4509479 advances October 2018 Update machines to Build 17763.593 and comes with one single fix. According to the changelog posted by Microsoft, Windows 10 Build 17763.593 resolves a bug that prevented certain devices from establishing a connection with SAN devices with iSCSI.

Microsoft has acknowledged that the bug was caused by Windows 10 KB4497934 and affected users received an error in the System log section of Event Viewer.

Microsoft is aware of several known issues in today’s cumulative update for Windows 10 version 1903, including a bug where some users may experience a black screen during the first boot.

If you try to rename or perform certain other operations on files used by (CSV) may fail with the error. Microsoft says this issue is experienced only in certain conditions.

Devices with some Asian language packs installed may receive an error message.
