Microsoft is today updating the Photos app for Windows 10 with new features to Story Remix function. It’s a pretty major update as it finally adds the main feature of the Story Remix. Microsoft is rolling the updated Photos app 2017.39081.15820.0 to Windows Insiders with Skip Ahead enabled.
Microsoft has finally added the Story Remix’s Theme feature and it lets you change the theme of the creation to Electric, Relaxing or Classic. It is one of the main features Microsoft announced while demoing the Story Remix at its Build 2017 developer conference.
Apart from this change, you can also change the aspect ratio of the video to 16: 9 or 4: 3. Furthermore, it is possible to choose the angle of the video where to insert the text.
As Microsoft is testing the new feature with the Skip Ahead Insiders, we are not sure whether or not it will make its way to the general public with the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update. Story Remix was announced back in May, the feature basically mixes the photos to create new stories with special effects and more.
