Direct download links for KB4039396 that brings Windows 10 to Build 14393.1670 is now available. Microsoft has released a new cumulative update for Windows 10 devices on the Anniversary Update. As usual, the cumulative update for the operating system has no new features but it brings some improvements.

Microsoft has also fixed some bugs to improve the overall experience of the OS. The company, however, recommends the users to upgrade to the Creators Update. The cumulative update is basically for those who still want to stay on the Anniversary Update.

Microsoft also confirmed that no new features are being added to Windows 10 with today’s cumulative update. Microsoft has fixed just two bugs with today’s update.

The company has finally addressed an issue where after installing the previous update deleted the update history. Microsoft notes that the past update history is gone but as the issue has been fixed.

Microsoft has also addressed the issue with WSUS update metadata processing that can cause some clients to time out with a 0x8024401c error. The update is currently rolling to Windows 10 Anniversary Update devices, it is available for PCs and not Windows Phone.
