Microsoft recently rebranded the Windows Store to Microsoft Store and launched the new Store for both Mobile and PC. However as Microsoft stopped updating the first-party apps on the Windows Store for the Fast Ring Mobile Insiders, the new Store was only available for download to the Release Preview Ring Insiders.

Today, Microsoft is rolling out a major update to the Windows Store on the Fast Ring for Windows 10 Mobile devices. The update rebrands the Store to Microsoft Store, the new version 11709.1001.18.0 improves the interface of the Microsoft Store with Fluent Design touch.

Microsoft has also added new icons and you’ll notice the Fluent Design elements on the top bar. Other noticeable changes include improved download speed and live tile. Apart from the above-mentioned changes, Microsoft has also fixed some bugs and improved the overall performance of the Microsoft Store.

Microsoft recently rolled out a server-side update that enabled the ability to buy games for Xbox One from the Windows 10 Mobile Store. The company is also testing new a feature that will allow the Windows 10 users to buy hardware directly from the Microsoft Store on PCs, Mobile and Xbox One.
