The rumours of the flagship Elite x3 being discontinued was recently denied by HP. It appears that HP is still interested in expanding the Elite x3 to Verizon network and if the rumours are believed to be true, it will be available by mid-October.

HP Elite x3 is an old Windows 10 Mobile but it is still popular among the fans. At the time of launch, the phone only supported the GSM bands, as a result the Verizon model was never released.

HP recently submitted the Elite x3 Verizon model to Bluetooth SIG, FCC and WIFI Org for certification. The Elite x3 is now listed on the development site of Verizon revealing the details of the flagship Windows 10 Mobile.

The Elite x3 now also supports CDMA (800 MHz, 1900 MHz) and as well as LTE. As spotted by our reader Paul Siracusa, HP has recently updated the Elite x3 product page confirming that the device supports Verizon’s 4G LTE in the United States.

As more and more details of the HP Elite x3 Verizon are showing up, we can expect the device to be launched in the coming weeks or months. Microsoft has already confirmed that Windows 10 Mobile is going to be supported until the end of 2019, it makes sense to buy the flagship HP Elite x3 as it is also one of the best flagship Windows Phone in 2017.
