Microsoft recently separated Windows 10 Mobile from the development branch and shifted the operating system to feature2 branch. Because of this unexpected change, no new features have been released for Windows 10 Mobile. While on other hand, Windows 10 on desktop keeps getting better.

Microsoft previously revealed that Windows 10 Mobile would be getting new features, improvements and bug fixes. Although, the features would be enterprise-focused so it may or may not be exciting for you depending on your needs. At that time, the company stated that new features will be released later this summer.

Yet another frustrated Windows Phone expressed his anger on Twitter. He asked that the company promised to release features later this summer but so far there is no update on the development.

Brandon Leblanc indirectly confirmed that currently there is no ETA but he keeps on claiming that new enterprise features will be released later this summer. “Our definition of summer may differ from the calendar/metrological definitions,” he added.

Recently, Brandon LeBlanc revealed the list of features that could be released for Windows 10 Mobile. “I am thinking about MDM management policies, improved VPN experiences, security, things like that,” he told a Windows Insider.

Microsoft is also planning to phase out Windows 10 Mobile over 2018. Windows 10 on Mobile is reportedly the future of Windows Phones. What do you expect from the next major update for Windows 10 on Mobile? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
