Apple’s rumored budget MacBook is gearing up to challenge the $600 Windows laptop segment with strong design, battery life, and heavy marketing.

Windows 11 is finally getting a proper “resume from phone” experience. With Insider Preview Build 26220.7271, Microsoft now lets select Android phones hand off Vivo Browser sessions and online Word, Excel, and PowerPoint files opened in the M365 Copilot app directly to your PC. It’s an early attempt at Windows’ version of Apple’s Handoff, powered by the Link to Windows app and Microsoft’s Continuity SDK.

Windows 11’s right-click menu has been a running joke for years, especially on smaller screens where it stretched across most of the display. With Insider Preview Build 26220.7271, Microsoft is finally cutting down the clutter. The File Explorer context menu is now shorter, cleaner, and grouped in a way that makes more sense, and in our tests the change is noticeable the moment you right-click a file.

Microsoft has added a new recovery option to Windows 11 that can roll your PC back to the exact state it was, without relying on backups or cloud services. Point-in-time restore creates full system restore points in the background and lets you undo bad updates, broken drivers, or sudden misconfigurations.

WhatsApp has replaced its fast, lightweight UWP app with a Chromium-powered web wrapper, and the result isn’t pretty. In my tests, the new WhatsApp for Windows used three times more RAM, stuttered during simple chat navigation, and even pushed older PCs to their limit. The update, ironically, feels like a downgrade.

Microsoft admitted that File Explorer is slow and can take longer than usual to load, and it's going to fix it in the next Windows 11 update.

Microsoft is now testing "Ask Microsoft 365 Copilot" within the "Home" tab. This will allow you to summarize files using MS 365 Copilot.
