We had reported in our earlier article that Microsoft is working on letting users purchase hardware from the Microsoft Store app. Now with the latest Insider Preview Build 17035 released yesterday for Fast Ring Insiders, the company has provided a new quest to purchase the Surface devices via the Store app.

Users will now be able to purchase Surface hardware and accessories directly from the Microsoft Store. However users would need to be on the latest version 11709.1001.7 or higher of the Microsoft Store to be able to have access for purchasing the devices.

The company has made the purchase option available for Windows 10 users currently in three regions U.S, UK and Australia. Microsoft Store gives you the same benefits like free shipping and free returns as you would have got by shopping via the Store on the web.

The Insider team has also introduced a new quest to provide Feedback on how the company can improve the Shopping experience on the Microsoft Store. Microsoft has already tested the purchase option with the Xbox users by making the Xbox Hardware and accessories available for purchase via the Xbox Store.

The company is currently testing the new Shopping option via the Microsoft Store in the above mentioned three regions currently and will be making the option available for more users and regions in coming days or weeks.
