Once upon a time, Windows Phone was Microsoft’s priority but things have changed now. At that time, Microsoft launched many interesting apps for Windows Phone and one of them was Live Lock Screen Beta. Microsoft previewed Lock Screen Themes for Windows Phone 8.1 at its Build 2014 event. Later Microsoft launched the feature as an app named ‘Live Lock Screen Beta’ on the Windows Phone Store.
As some users reported lock screen performance issues, even after they had uninstalled the Live Lock Screen Beta app. As a result, Microsoft removed the app from the Windows Phone Store.
Today, Live Lock Screen Beta is once again available on the Windows Store for both Windows Phone 8.1 and Windows 10 Mobile. We don’t know why Microsoft released the app after almost 2 years, it is, however, a good news for the Windows Phone fans.
The Live Lock Screen Beta lets you truly personalize your lock screen. It has 6 new lock screen layouts to add a distinctive touch to your Windows Phone and Windows 10 Mobile device. It brings the new design for the time, date, and notifications, and also the unique unlock animation.
