Microsoft has been supporting its payment service on Windows 10 Mobile with its Microsoft Wallet app for quite a while now. Today two new banks have added their support for the Microsoft Wallet. Ally Bank and First Light FCU bank have added  their without any sort of official announcement. So now the users of the Ally Bank and First Light FCU bank will be able to use the Microsoft Wallet app to pay for things in shops directly. The number of Banks that support Microsoft’s Wallet platform are rising very slowly but at least its increasing.

Currently Apple Pay, Samsung Pay , Master Pass, Android Pay and Microsoft Wallet are offering the payment services in the United States. While Microsoft Wallet has been the last one to enter the Wallet service platform on their Windows Phone and so have lesser number of Banks that supports them and the current state of the Windows Phone platform is not helping Microsoft.

Microsoft Wallet supports tap to pay in the United States at the moment and the company is yet to announce if the company has any plans to bring tap to pay on Wallet to other countries. Currently the Microsoft Wallet works only on the latest Windows 10 Mobile handsets and Microsoft Wallet won’t work on an older device.
