Microsoft had released Windows 10 Mobile Insider Preview Build 15223 in the Fast ring a week ago and today they have moved it in the Insider Slow ring. Microsoft has today also released Build 15226 for Windows 10 Mobile Devices in the Fast Ring. Like all previous feature2 branch build releases this build also doesn’t bring any new feature rather it has 3 bugs fixed. This build was just one builder newer than the earlier Mobile build 15222 in the slow ring and the following bugs fixes and improvements are there in this one:
  • The issue of only displaying the first VPN profile in the VPN settings page has been resolved and you can check it by going to the vpn page via Settings > Network & wireless > VPN.
  • Microsoft has also fixed the issue where Time Zone of a meeting was garbled in Chinese or Japanese.
  • Changed “Phone Update” to “Windows Update” under Settings > Update & security based on Insider feedbacks.

There is only one Known issues for Mobile in this build which is the crashing of WeChat app in some cases. Windows 10 Redstone 3 Builds for Phones will contain major improvements for which Microsoft has said that they won’t move feature2 to redstone3 anytime soon. Today, a leaked video has revealed the changes coming to Windows 10 Mobile in future. One of the major change is Continuum 2.0 which brings much-needed changes to the Windows Phone’s best feature.
