In march WhartonBrooks started a crowd funding campaign on Indigogo with a aim to raise $1.1 million fund for the launch of their new Phone. The phone named “Cerulean Moment” was Snapdragon 617 processor continuum enabled Windows 10 Mobile OS phone.

The campaign has ended and with only 3% of its funding goal reached. There is not very much that WhartonBrooks can be very optimistic about about their future after this. But surprisingly they have addressed users with some very positive words after the failed Indigogo campaign. They would be utilizing it for their next device the with enormous feedback they have recieved from the campaign page.

They issued the following statement on the Indigogo campaign page:

Thank you for contributing to our campaign to bring the Cerulean Moment to the fans of Windows Phone.  Though we did not reach our goal, there were many positive take-a-ways from this campaign.  We had more than 33,000 visitors and received an enormous amount of feedback that will help us pursue our next device.  Your support and words of encouragement were inspiring and greatly appreciated. We wish you well and please join us on twitter @ceruleanmobile.

We hope WhartonBrooks comes up with another strategy to enhance their vision of  “Windows Phone by the Fans for the Fans” and succeed in with their future Windows Phones. We would be eager to see what Whartonbrooks would coming up with in the upcoming months.
