Last year, Microsoft partnered with the Qualcomm to bring entire Windows 10 experience on the mobile chip. And they also demonstrated the entire Windows 10 on Snapdragon 835 chip-set at WinHEC 2016.
Well, there are lots of possibilities on how company will introduce the new product to the market with Cellular Windows 10 PCs and Win32 apps on ARM architecture. Well not much information about the upcoming device is not available yet. While in other hand we are hearing about the Windows 10 Mobile on ARM64. Well of course this will definitely lead us to “The Ultimate Mobile Device”.
But now a leaked documentations from Microsoft talks about the Windows 10 Mobile on ARM64. Well it’s quite strange to talk about this for the first time. We haven’t mention it ever till today. Anyways, the document reveals 2 different Windows 10 Mobile architectures.
Having Windows 10 Mobile X86 as a standalone Mobile architecture makes this possibility redundant. Consider that if the Mobile would able to run X64 will also able to run the Win32 apps so efficiently. That means the entire PC is now on our pockets. Well, the mystical Surface Phone could have those ability but we’re not so sure about that.
In addition Microsoft also planning to bring eSIM feature to the operating system. This technology will allow the customers to buy data directly from the Windows Store. Furthermore, a user can use it as Wi-Fi and cellular networks, consume data, and also can manage costs. Windows Store will host these data plans, so user can easily purchase it and manage usage of it.
Windows 10 Mobile ARM64 may be for the more consumer-oriented product. And couple of reports about already claims that Windows 10 Redstone 3 is the Mobility update.
Microsoft has a lot in the pipeline for Windows 10 over the next 1 and half year, with Redstone 3 seemingly turning out to be a pretty big update for Windows 10, Windows 10 Mobile and Xbox One. How you are seeing the future of Windows 10 Mobile?
