As we all know that the Microsoft partnered with the Qualcomm to bring entire Windows 10 experience on the mobile chip, yes that’s Qualcomm Snapdragon 835. And now at CES 2017 Qualcomm is all set to launch the next generation of chipset in Las Vegas.
Upcoming company’s chip set Snapdragon 835 will be the first ARM processor capable of running full Windows 10. But before company made an official announced at CES, some of the every important specification about the Snapdragon 835 has been leaked by the popular leaker Evan Blass.

Taking a deeper look at press release Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 sports the Qualcomm Kryo 280 CPU quad-core, Qualcomm Adreno 540 GPU, and Qualcomm Hexagon DSP processor to maintain the different workloads. All of these chip set work together and increase 27% of performance compared to the previous generation.
In addition company is also making significant improvements with the Snapdragon 835 for power consumption. The new processor will consumes 40% less power than company’s any other older generation.
Taking about other features then it will provide up to 1 day of talk time, 5+ days of music playback, and 7+ hours of 4K video streaming. With Qualcomm Quick Charge 4 user will get five hours of battery life just with in five minutes of charging. That’s the big deal.
There are also notable improvements in the graphics rendering and virtual reality.And also there are many enhancement in the Security, Connectivity, Machine Learning and more. According to the company, the Snapdragon 835 includes “game-changing” enhancements to accurate audio, intuitive interactions, and vibrant visuals. The processor also offers 25% faster 3D graphic rendering and produces 60X display colors than the Snapdragon 820.
Of course this is the first ARM processor capable of running entire Windows 10. And since they teamed up with Microsoft then we can say that the first Windows 10 device running Snapdragon 835 is not much far away.
